Ron Fowler, CISSP
President and CEO

Ron Fowler joined Structured in 1992 and became CEO in 1994. Under his technical and business leadership, Structured develops industry-leading solutions and services that provide the highest levels of information access and security for enterprise networks.

Ron is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with more than 20 years of experience designing and deploying local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), Internet service provider (ISP) networks and developing complex e-security tools. He is also among the first information technology leaders to be certified in token ring connectivity, firewall administration, and many other pioneering technical applications. His hands-on experience and technical expertise make him a highly sought after industry speaker on topics including secure computing and emerging technologies.

While CEO of Structured, Ron also co-founded Structured Network Systems, an Internet services company. When launched in 1994, SNS was one of the earliest providers of Internet services to the Northwest. Ron sold SNS in 1997 to global telecommunications giant Verio/NTT.

Before Ron started his own company, he served as district manager and senior network engineer for SJI Corp., where he managed business development in Oregon and southwestern Washington and introduced emerging routing and switching technologies to strategic SJI clients. Prior to SJI, Ron held a number of senior sales and engineering positions with prominent technology companies including Case Communications, Inc. and Rush-Drake Electronics, Inc.

William R. Ketrenos, CISSP
Vice-president of Secure Infrastructure

Bill Ketrenos brings more than ten years of networking and telecommunications experience to Structured, where he serves as vice-president of secure infrastructure. He is an expert network consultant who works with senior executives and network engineers to develop secure information systems and to improve network functionality and reliability. He shows chief information officers and network managers how to achieve the seemingly conflicting goals of productivity and security without losing sight of the ultimate goal—helping clients cut costs, improve profitability, and eliminate risk. Bill oversees a handpicked team of consultants and engineers who share his dedication to delivering value by combining technology, ingenuity, and heartfelt commitment to customer service and hard work.

Prior to joining Structured in 2001, Bill worked in key information technology, carrier network operations, and customer service management roles for Advanced Telecom Group, Shared Communications Services, Impact Telecommunications, and WorldCom.

Andrew G. Edgar
Vice-president of Storage & Systems

Andrew Edgar is a veteran technology expert who is well known throughout the Northwest for his consistent ability to build profitable customer relationships by delivering business value through technology solutions. At Structured, he is the vice-president of storage & systems.

Beyond his management responsibilities, Andrew also holds numerous vendor certifications from Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi Data Systems, Sun Microsystems, IBM, Oracle, Symantec (Veritas Software) and other leading technology partners. He has earned various outstanding achievement awards for his leadership and management.
Before joining Structured in 2001, he was an account executive at Advanced Systems Group, where he built a marketing presence for the company’s entry into the Northwest. He also branded and marketed the company, recruited top technical consultants, expanded market geography, and provided new business growth for the company. Prior to that, Andrew was a regional sales manager at BASIS for over seven years. Under his management, the company consistently increased revenues from year to year.
