Structured Promotes Leadership Amidst Growth, Demand for Cloud Services
Several key executive positions elevated as cloud, security and data center divisions experience continued strong growth and soaring customer demand.
CLACKAMAS, Ore. (May 15, 2017)—An early commitment to multi-cloud services, combined with a successful 25-year track record of cybersecurity integration, has positioned Structured as an industry leader, prompting a reorganization of the executive team to effectively capitalize on shifting market conditions and emerging customer requirements.
Structured, an information technology consultancy and multi-cloud services provider headquartered in Clackamas, Ore., tapped key personnel to spearhead both newly created and expanded divisions of the company. Leadership roles include Chief Technology Officer (Ty Trabosh); Vice President, Technology Solutions (Bill Tracy); Vice President, Cloud Architecture (Chris McDuffie); and Vice President, Data Center Services (Mark Hickman).
Together, Trabosh, Tracy, McDuffie and Hickman represent more than 50 years of Structured leadership experience and stability, a rare and impressive feat for a company in the volatile IT sector. In their new roles, they’ll collaborate to create, direct and synchronize the secure delivery of cloud solutions across all of Structured’s technology practices. “In development are tools and services that enable our clients to take control and maximize their various clouds,” said McDuffie. “With this in mind, we are better leveraging our growing bench of engineers and solution architects to tackle new technologies and various integration techniques.”
“The IT landscape is rapidly changing, and more organizations than ever before are moving critical workloads to the cloud to capture its benefits, which include efficiency and scale,” said Structured President and CEO Ron Fowler.
“This team of talented, committed and visionary leaders helped Structured thrive, achieve impressive accolades and earn a sterling reputation for engineering excellence during a dynamic — and sometimes chaotic — era in the IT industry,” Fowler added. “I implicitly trust this team to lead Structured into a very bright future as we adapt our business to help customers navigate the complexities and mitigate the challenges that arise as they leverage multiple cloud computing platforms.”
While demand for services related to streamlining and maximizing returns from all types of IT architectures steadily grows, the supply of actionable business expertise remains limited. “Many businesses and organizations are seeking help and guidance from trusted resources,” said Structured CTO Ty Trabosh. “Structured remains ready with the right mix of solutions, services and personnel to help our clients form a winning technology strategy.”
Ty Trabosh, Chief Technology Officer – Trabosh has been instrumental in Structured’s overall growth and evolution during his 15 years of service, particularly in the development of Structured’s award-winning Professional Services and Secure Infrastructure teams. In his new role, Trabosh will provide vision, direction, and executive management supporting Structured’s growing technical teams, including those for Professional Services, Managed Services, Service Desk, and Project Management.
Bill Tracy, Vice President, Technology Solutions – Tracy has been a vital part of the Structured team for more than 14 years. As he ascended through company ranks to become Director of Solution Architecture, Tracy spent eight years in that role developing management processes for pre-sales discovery, solution design and proposal creation in support of Structured’s sales efforts. In his new position, Tracy will oversee selection, sales, and support of the company’s various technology solution offerings. He will play a pivotal role in assessing business requirements for emerging technology platforms, presenting applicable technologies for sale, and providing a high-level architecture of the solution sets Structured offers.
Chris McDuffie, Vice President, Cloud Architecture – McDuffie has been an invaluable part of the Structured team for nearly 10 years. His hard work and dedication to the Application Delivery practice helped Structured achieve significant visibility and recognition in the marketplace. In his new position, McDuffie will help the Structured team methodically identify, assess, develop and support clients’ multi-cloud initiatives. He will oversee the adoption and implementation of products and services that customers can leverage to make secure and cost-effective cloud strategy choices.
Mark Hickman, Vice President, Data Center Services – Hickman has been an integral and dedicated part of the Structured team for more than 15 years. He has continued to be influential by providing the necessary leadership and expertise in the development of Structured’s Storage and Systems practice. In his new position, Hickman will be responsible for the continued growth and development of Data Center solution offerings, a significant expansion of duties in light of the ever-increasing importance of information security, network traffic visibility, and data analytics projects that hinge upon secure and scalable customer data centers.
