Structured Takes IT Protection to the Next Level, Now Offers Palo Alto Networks Core Training Classes in Next-Generation Security
IT security professionals can achieve Palo Alto Networks® certification via Structured’s ATC classes. PORTLAND, Ore. (Jan. 3, 2014) – The Pacific Northwest just got a little more secure now that IT professionals have a new, convenient way to level up their credentials. Structured today announced it has become an Authorized Training Center (ATC) for Palo Alto Networks, the network security company™. As an ATC, Structured, a Platinum participant in the Palo Alto Networks Next Wave Partner program, will offer specialized and accredited training courses on the Palo Alto Networks next-generation security platform. “Information security is the foundation of our company,” said Ron Fowler, Structured president and CEO. “Structured began as an IT security consultancy more than 20 years ago, and we are excited to partner with Palo Alto Networks in bringing this information and these important classes to industry professionals.” Structured will offer two fundamental training courses – Palo Alto Networks Essentials 1 (EDU 201) and Palo Alto Networks Essentials 2 (EDU 205) — in three locations: Portland, Ore., Bellevue, Wash., and Anchorage, Alaska. - EDU 201: Palo Alto Networks Essentials 1 – Firewall Installation, Configuration and Management. Students will gain an in-depth knowledge of how to install, configure, and manage their firewall, as well as configuration steps for the security, networking, threat prevention, logging, and reporting features of the Palo Alto Networks Operation System.
- EDU 205: Palo Alto Networks Essentials 2 – Extended Firewall Management. Expands on 201 course topics, while introducing many new features and functions of Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls. Students on this course will gain an in-depth knowledge of how to optimize their visibility and control over applications, users, and content.
